Job Summary | The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support for Associate Vice President Public Safety & Emergency Management and oversees the day to day operations for the Department of Public Safety. Job Summary | The Sr. Business Manager reports to the Vice President of Information Services and Technology, and Chief Information Officer. This role is responsible for managing the business and financial operations of the portfolio including finance, budget, personnel, space and facilities planning, and oversight of all fiscal and operating protocols. Job Summary | The Administrative Specialist serves as the primary point of contact in the Office of the President for visitors and callers and is responsible for ensuring that all parties receive prompt, professional and courteous attention when contacting the President’s Office. The Administrative Specialist may independently respond to inquiries, assist the visitor/caller on appropriate next steps, or direct to the appropriate person or department. In addition, the Specialist acts as the Building Coordinator for the Troy Building; is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the offices on the 3rd and 4th floors designated to the President; ensures that office supplies and equipment are inventoried and maintained; and ensures that electronic and paper records are filed and/or destroyed as appropriate. Additionally, the Administrative Specialist performs a full range of secretarial and administrative duties supporting the President’s staff. Job Summary | The Director of Real Estate directs all activities associated with land management/leases; real estate revenue activities; building and land acquisition/sales; building and land appraisals; all Rensselaer property-related tax payments; Rensselaer tax exemption requirements; and special activities, that include leases and subleases of external facilities, fraternity/sorority land/building leases and finances; estate activities and community issues. The Director is responsible for leading real estate and economic development programs to attract diverse and innovative partners to engage on properties owned by the Institution both residential and commercial, inclusive of properties at Rensselaer Technology Park (RTP). This will comprise extensive collaboration with multiple portfolios including the Office of Strategic Alliances and Translation (OSAT), Provost, Student Life, OCEC, and Finance. The Director is responsible to develop programs to attract and maintain tenant occupants of RTP and create a self-funded real estate program. Programs that cultivate community and regional relationships and foster an exchange of ideas between community leaders, industry partners, researchers and students. The Director is responsible for all fiscal management of the RTP and real estate program including operating and capital budget development and financial controls to achieve goals. |

Minimum Qualifications | Applicants must possess an MFA, PhD, or foreign equivalent in Game Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Evidence of effective teaching, and the ability to demonstrate, through accomplishment, promise of academic, scholarly and/or research achievement. They will demonstrate proficiency in one or more game engines, along with a robust background in project management and production processes within the gaming industry. Additionally, candidates must exhibit a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. For appointment at the rank of Senior Lecturer, candidates must also have attained a significant level of scholarly activity, research output, or individual creative practice. A Professor of Practice has obtained unique professional experience, has distinguished research, and/or has performed at an executive or officer level, and has made a significant impact within the field of games. Job Summary | The Economic and Industry Analyst will analyze and make recommendations for progress of the sustainable fashion industry, from farms and new materials to processing to brands and design, in New York State and in general (in the U.S. and worldwide). The Analyst will review and keep abreast of pertinent studies and research, and will seek information from industry data sources, carry out interviews and surveys, and analyze and interpret the information. The work is based at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as part of the Fashion Innovation Center (FIC). The Analyst will interact with FIC members and participants to learn about the industry, discuss sustainable fashion industry problems and potential solutions, consider ways to advance the industry in New York State, and document relevant information and findings in report, paper, and/or book form. Job Summary | The Sr. Major Gift Officer (MGO) will serve as the Senior Regional Director of Development for the Southwest Region of the United States and will be responsible for developing a regular cadence of strategic opportunities focused on engaging existing and prospective major donors with the end goal of qualifying, soliciting, and closing major gifts. Job Summary | The Procurement Agent is responsible for ensuring that supplier data is accurate, up to date, and in compliance with Institute policies. Information Technology Services (ITS) at the University at Albany seeks applicants for a Central Business Office Associate, who is responsible for coordinating/processing several operational activities in the ITS department. The Central Business Office (CBO) serves as the hub for all ITS finance and operations. The CBO Associate is an essential member of the team and interacts with multiple departments across the university, including Accounting, Asset Management, Facilities, Human Resources, and Purchasing. The successful candidate enjoys a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and getting out of the office to visit various locations on campus for equipment deliveries and receiving/disposal of assets. Primary Responsibilities:
Software Licensing:
- Review and respond to software license requests from faculty/staff/students.
- Distribute licenses in accordance with University and ITS policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of software purchases, activation codes, distribution/assignment of software licenses, and chargebacks to departments.
Billing:
- Process monthly billing for ITS activities and track receipt of payments.
- Investigate any discrepancies in revenue.
Asset Management:
- Work collaboratively across ITS to ensure accurate asset management needs and processes are fulfilled in a timely matter.
- Ensure all purchases have the appropriate Asset Management forms/tags when received and disposed of.
- Record accurate information in the Asset Management database, including the addition and removal of assets.
Additional/Other Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with staff from ITS and other departments on campus to facilitate transactions for all Central Business Office activities.
- Serve as a backup for coverage of reception area.
- Perform all operations in compliance with SUNY and New York State financial / procurement policies.
- Handle confidential information and matters in a professional manner.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Be available to provide scheduled support and consultation outside normal business hours, including occasional evenings, holidays, or weekends, within reasonable professional obligation and expectation.

Director of Client Services
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular full-time. This is an 12-month position. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Supervisor: Chief Information Officer
Position Purpose:Manages the Client Services and Learning Environments team, handling both personnel and financial aspects. Leads support for students, faculty, and staff by evaluating technical issues and collaborating with ITS (Information Technology Services) peers to implement effective solutions. Directly oversees Tier 1 and Tier 2 Client Services teams (including ITS Help Desk and Learning Environments), managing training, staffing, and performance assessment. - Event Support and Logistics: Works with the Assistant Director of Learning Environments to ensure responsive and high quality support for electronic classrooms and events being held on the Union College campus, including Zoom webinars. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business Administration, and a minimum of 5 years of successful management experience in a service-oriented technology environment, and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proficient in Windows and Apple client hardware and operating systems.
- Proven experience implementing performance metrics for operational analysis and decision-making purposes.

The annual salary range this position is $95,000.00 - $110,000.00. Information Technology Services (ITS) at the University at Albany seeks applicants for an Asset and Scheduling Assistant to support a campus-wide project to replace all non-Windows 11 compatible computers by Fall 2025. This is a large project with a tight timeline. Faculty, staff, conference room, classroom, and research lab computers will be replaced.
The successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively as a member of the project team to schedule appointments and rooms, track the availability, procurement, and receipt of computer/hardware assets; generate, edit and manage required reports; and update the asset inventory ensuring its integrity and authority for ongoing use beyond the project. They will have latitude and authority for independent decision-making and have authority to work with faculty, staff and department representatives directly and on behalf of the project. Requires knowledge of different tools/applications and how the data in each is used and related, including O365 applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Access, etc.), Smartsheet, and a ticket management application.
The project team members consist of the project manager, the Desktop and Mobile Computing service owner, the Field Support Group Deployment Group supervisor, and the ITS Central Business office, among others. A high degree of integrity in communications to the project team, faculty, staff and department representatives is required, including developing effective communications, and responding with regular and follow up communications to ensure the project needs and expectations are communicated to faculty, staff, and department representatives and their needs are communicated back to the project team.
All work must proceed efficiently and effectively. The work requires a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, ability to follow pre-defined processes and workflows accurately and the ability to work independently, and to make appropriate decisions, as part of a project team. While focus is on following established processes and workflows, they should also be prepared to identify, recommend, or implement continuous improvements to improve efficiency.
They must be able to complete work within scheduled time constraints and maintain a personal working schedule that allows work and daily responsibilities to be completed as scheduled. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills, time management and work skills and the ability to work effectively under time constraints and difficult circumstances.
This position reports to the Manager, Desktop and Mobile Computing services, but will also work closely with and respond to questions and direct the work of other members of the project team.

- Develop, maintain, and revise, as needed, an effective communications strategy to department contacts, their faculty and staff, ITS managers and supervisors to ensure appointments and deployments proceed efficiently and without disruptions.
- Create and maintain accurate records of machine deployments in keeping with on-going expectations for the ITS asset inventory, using appropriate tools and communication methods.
- Oversee, update, and manage all required reports, ensure accurate data is captured, updated, and confirmed through the entire decision-making and deployment processes.
- Track the availability, procurement, and receipt of computer/hardware assets, and update the ITS asset inventory and anticipate and communicate to the manager, the status of needed inventory in a timely manner to ensure work can proceed without interruption.
- Ability to work with different tools/applications, including O365 applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Access, etc.); Smartsheet, and a ticket management application.
- Make independent decisions and recommendations in alignment with project strategy and outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Position Purpose: Under general direction by the Vice President and Chief of Staff, Office of the President, works collaboratively with various departments, including Student Affairs, Human Resources, Academic Affairs, Campus Safety and the Chief Diversity Officer to ensure the College’s adherence to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Amendments to the Clery Act, New York State Education Law Article 129-B, and other federal and state laws governing gender-based misconduct, discrimination, harassment and equal opportunity. Plays a pivotal role in fostering and securing a nurturing environment conducive to academic and personal growth of all College community members.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Compliance: Facilitates compliance with all procedures, requirements and timeframes outlined in the College’s Title IX Policy, Gender-based Misconduct Policy, and the Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation in Employment. Leads an effort to review and revise policies in response to changes in governing laws, regulations, and guidance. Reviews and compiles reports in compliance with federal and state law and to identify and address any patterns or systemic problems of reports of harassment and misconduct within the College community. Completes annual assessment report of progress to goals.
- Process Oversight: Oversees and coordinates investigations, responses, and resolutions to complaints under the Title IX Policy, the Gender-based Misconduct Policy, and the Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation in Employment. Assures that investigation and resolution processes are conducted in a fair, timely, impartial, respectful, and thorough manner.
- Collaboration & Partnership: Collaborates with colleagues in Student Affairs and Human Resources to identify topics, design and deliver student and employee training including compliance content training (e.g. NCAA Title IX requirements, new student orientation requirements, student training pursuant to New York Education Law Article 129-B, etc.). Coordinates with local organizations and service providers to ensure our community members have access to confidential resources. Manages partnerships with other external agencies with which the College has a partnership in executing its responsibilities under Title IX and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Supervision: Selects, trains, assigns and oversees designated roles including Deputy Title IX Coordinators, investigators, adjudication panel members, appellate panel members and advisors; ensures all are adequately trained in compliance with federal and New York State law.
Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in a related field such as human resources, law, social justice, higher education administration or a relevant discipline and/or a Juris Doctorate, and a minimum of three years of experience in equal opportunity compliance, Title IX administration, or a related field, preferably in a higher education or nonprofit organizational setting.
- Extensive experience working on compliance with Title IX, Title VII, ADA, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Section 504 and related regulatory requirements.
- Certification and/or training as required by federal and New York State law to serve in the position, or ability to obtain such certification and training prior to commencement of employment.
- Demonstrated expertise in federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to equal opportunity, affirmative action, discrimination and harassment, including comprehensive knowledge of Title VII, Title IX, the Clery Act, New York State Education Law Article 129-B or similar state laws, and related guidance from the United States Department of Education and applicable state authorities.
